HYBRID SMART SOLAR SYSTEM

Hybrid solar systems combine the best from grid-tied and off-grid solar systems. These systems can either be described as off-grid solar with utility backup power, or grid-tied solar with extra battery storage. By combing the strengths of two different solar technologies, photovoltaic with solar thermal, researchers hope to develop cheap solar power that can be even when it’s not sunny.
